Watchers are peculiar cykrons that guard Daemon Fortresses.
Description
Watchers are made from prisoners of the Daemons. Their appearance varies but they generally resemble humanoids. Whatever the form they are always clothed in white.
It is generally accepted that Watchers have been altered so far from their original form that they are usually not considered true beings, merely highly advanced technology.
Diet
Watchers never eat, their mechanical system is self-sustaining.
Uses
A Watcher's name fits it perfectly: all they do is watch, and nothing more.
Watchers are entirely static. They cannot move any part of their body, including their eyes. However, they are perfectly designed to detect intruders in their field of vision, and if they do a loudspeaker that replaces their mouth emits a shrill alarm. As such, many Watchers are placed around an area that needs guarding.
They are one of the most feared of cykrons, because the original mind of the creature that was converted can only stare into space, which could drive anyone insane.
They are created by Ravana, and while they are produced on Lanka, they are often mass-distributed across the Daemoniverse to be used by other Daemons. Ravana is quite proud of these creations, and does not hesitate to create them even when they are not needed.
