Reedwalkers are flamingo-like reptiles native to Aristotle. Their colorful appearance is due to the algae they eat.
Appearance
Reedwalkers are spindly creatures, which walk on stilt-like legs. The head is small and contains a baleen-like substance which they use to filter algae out of the water.
Reedwalkers are most commonly majenta in color, although red, blue, and even yellow have been reported.
Diet
Reedwalkers filter microscopic algae out of ponds and rivers. The different colors are a direct result of the consumption of different types of algae.
Behaviour
Reedwalkers live in large "flocks" around permanent bodies of water. They take it in shifts to guard the flock from predators. When on guard duty, one will stay on lookout while the others eat.
