The Luxcebae are Lamana's main group of photosynthesisers.

Physiology

All Luxcebae have collagen cell walls, resembling cartilage. As a result, they are quite compressible, but stiff. They require less water to maintain turgidity due to extracellular links, and they have many xylem.

Groups

There are two main groups of Luxcebae-

  • Verdedermons, which are green or greeny-brown. They are all vascular, and all need to live near a water source. Some produce compound fruits. The Heuaborads are a good example.
  • Terradermons, which are red or brown. They have far better heat tolerance.
